Mia's selections were deliberate, layered, and deeply revealing. She selected a remedy for inflammatory pain choosing first to take it from the hand rather than the saucer, a gesture of both trust and intention. She followed with a remedy that speaks to comfort, security, and a digestive system quietly feeling the weight of her anxiety.
She told a very real emotional story with striking clarity. She selected a flower remedy consistently chosen by animals feeling the impact of separation and a home that has shifted around them. Mia strongly selected a remedy that will help support her fear based aggression, which behaviourally is exactly what her guardian contacted me to help with. This signalled her need for this particular support and her profound resonance with the remedy.
Her essential oil selections were those of an animal who knows exactly what she carries. Oils to support her body and for the mind caught in loops of worry. Remedies that bring a sense of peace into the subconscious. A remedy to ground her, to still her, to bring her back to herself when things feel a little crazy our there for her.
She ended where she began, with a strong remedy that helps her feel less fearful, calms her mind. She settled beside the open bottle and moved her body closer as she fell asleep. There is something quietly extraordinary about that image: an animal, having done her own healing work, choosing to rest beside the remedy that made her feel safest.
I created a behaviour modification program for her using the remedies she'd selected, with an individualised protocol that has empowered her guardians to meet her needs more consciously, and use tools that they know work for her, tools she chose for herself.
"All the insights you shared with us have assisted us in helping Mia more, creating a better balance amongst the animals in our home. There has been a sense of calm, and for that I am grateful"
