Ted arrived at his session on a full moon evening with a persistent ear infection, a little selective hearing, and a guardian, M*, who already cared for him with great attentiveness.

He selected a number of different nutritional 'boosters' and, after some gentle opening work, settled deeply into a remedy that is known to support an animal to cope with separation anxiety. He rested his head between his paws. He took a long, slow inhalation - taking a big dose of his chosen remedy. And after a while working with his remedy, he fell asleep.

This is how an animal signals that the work is done.

If you knew Ted, you'd know that separation is the hardest thing in his life, and his choice tells his story.

Later in the session, after he selected the perfect calming mineral remedy for his ear infection and having it applied, Ted went on to ask for the application elsewhere... He rolled onto his back and shifted from side to side, showing me where on his belly he wanted the remedy applied. He was not passive. He was directing.

He happened to have been experiencing hot, itchy skin on his belly recently - and chose exactly the remedy that soothed this!

Ted's skin condition and ear infection improved almost immediately, and became exactly the non-medical solution his guardian was looking for!

"It was very clear that the animal leads the session. It is a highly bespoke experience tailored to each animal's needs."

— M*, Ted's guardian

"Vonne pays close attention to the animal and is incredibly in tune with their behaviour, noticing even the smallest signs and subtle changes."

— M*
